Many things of like!

Cookie is brilliant, i’ve only met him once or twice, but you just have to follow his antics. Not only is he an amazing illustrator, he’s also a die hard adventurer. After walking from Mexico to Canada last year (3000 miles!) he’s planning another great adventure across New Zealand.

If you have an invite to kickstarter, GIVS it to him!

Snoop Dogg GPS directions (fo’ shizzle):

Behind the scenes:

Now while that’s pretty cool, i’m going to have to call them out on the five years. The guy said it took FIVE YEARS to make this all happen?! Really? Now i’m sure it’s pretty hard to convince tom tom, garmin or the like to allow ‘joke’ or ‘celeb’ voices on their unit, but FIVE YEARS? You could actually do something actually worthwhile in that time, like dig 20 wells in Africa instead of trying to get snoop dogg onto your GPS. I mean really, that’s not an amount of time you mention when talking about this, as it just makes it seem like overkill. Anyway, rant over.

Bride and groom update facebook relationship status at the altar:

I suspect the groom got told off later.

This iphone in a book concept is absolutely brilliant on so many levels:

Have you ever wondered what happens when you take resevoir dogs audio, and put it to teenage mutant ninja turtles video? I know i have, but now we have an answer!:

Osmotic power! Salt Water + Fresh water + Science = Electricity?!

Ok, so maybe the part thinking about resevoir dogs and TMNT wasn’t entirely true, but i HAVE often though about how great it would be to have two monitors in my laptop. Seems that actually IS something other people have though about. So many in fact that a company called Kohjinsha has actually made such a machine!

You can buy it for me here.

And saving the best till last, my new favourite blog, MLIA. While this stands for “My Life Is Average” but given the anecdotes this site serves up it should really be “My Life Is Amusing”:

Today, one of my classmates walked into my computers class wearing his signature hat and jacket that looks just like Indiana Jones’. When he stood up to leave I played the Indiana Jones theme song on my computer. He instantly ran for the door, threw it open, dropped his hat, and proceeded to grab his hat right before the door closed.

Last week the administration took the clock down in the lobby. Tired of looking at the wall and not seeing anything my friend and I printed a picture of a clock and hung it on the wall. We’ve been watching people double check their watches for a while now. Entertaining? I think so.

Today, I went to a concert at a small venue. About twenty minutes in, some guy in the first row tried to take a picture. The lead guitarist noticed, stopped playing in the middle of a song, and shouted “Hey Gary! Picture!!!” They all gathered together and posed for the camera, and picked up exactly where they left off as if nothing happened. In all my years of going to concert, I have never seen anything like it. MLIA

Today, I attended a co-worker’s wedding. A little boy who looked about 6 was coming down the aisle and he took two steps, stopped, and turned to the crowd (alternating between bride’s side and groom’s side), put his hands up like claws, and roared. Step, step, ROAR, step step, ROAR, all the way down the aisle. The crowd was near tears from laughing so hard by the time he reached the pulpit. The little boy, however, was getting more and more distressed from all the laughing and was almost crying. When asked what he was doing, he sniffed and said, “I was being the Ring Bear.”

Awwwwwww!

Many more to be had here.
